Warehouse Coordination
- Venn-Corp’s proprietary integrated management processes generate notification to the warehouse of an inbound shipment and effectively links the activities of shipping and delivering project equipment with the receiving and inspection activities of the storage facility.
- Upon request of the project team, Venn-Corp notifies the warehouse of the planned transfer and secures an appropriate carrier. All activities are interlinked and tracked by Venn-Corp’s logistics system, creating an overall record of the movement and storage of the equipment.
Inventory Management
- Because the shipment and warehouse information is interconnected, product information including model numbers, serial numbers and quantities can be seamlessly transferred to the inventory management process. This reduces data capture errors; promotes consistency with purchase orders in nomenclature and key product information; and, increases inventory accuracy.
