Venn-Corp and its affiliates have been working with one of the largest retail grocers in North America since 2005 to manage the inbound FF&E program for the construction and/or retrofit of a 1000+ store development program. Venn-Corp manages the FF&E program from issuance of purchase orders, through warehousing the FF&E inventory, to the job site delivery, all of which is integrated with the program/project schedule.

- Venn-Corp provides consolidated project invoicing in a format that is imported into the customer accounting system, allocating costs by store, project and purchase order
Venn-Corp developed and implemented integrated program logistics reporting, including:
- Owner-defined cost allocation budgeting and reporting
- Exception reports of vendors failing to conform with their PO instructions
- Budget overruns identified by a purchase order number and accounting convention
Venn-Corp manages FF&E vendor and logistics contracts through project “close-out". This process:
- Has reduced incidents of damage claims by 15%
- Resolved open issues within payment cycle, eliminating potential liens against the project
- Provides the owner a project summary outlining challenges to overcome and opportunities to benefit future projects in the program
Venn-Corp’s management of the program has resulted in Venn-Corp receiving the client’s “Vendor of the Year” award for 2011/2012 for the following cost reduction successes:
- From 2007 through 2011, Venn-Corp reduced the program warehousing costs by 25%, while program volume has increased in excess of 50%
- Reduced applicable line transit costs by 22% and improved the energy efficiency of the program by converting shipments to rail from OTR trucking
- Implemented a program vendor consolidation program, reducing shipping costs by 54% versus standard vendor solutions
